Getting on Tinder can facilitate cheating for college students in exclusive romantic relationships, according to new research from Texas Tech University scholars. More participants — 17 percent — said they had messaged somebody on Tinder while in an exclusive relationship. Respondents were split on whether Tinder is an effective way to meet people while in a relationship. Nearly 35 percent said the app is either very ineffective or ineffective, while about 40 percent said it was very effective or effective.

In my last post, I discussed the ever rising rate of academic dishonesty among college students. One reason for this trend is the desire to seek the easy way out in a world of mounting pressure coupled with the taste for social freedoms.
